Classic Nib wanted to present a higher end component set and Dayacom assisted in our endeavor. We used the highest quality components and created the Aaron, featuring an elegant grapevine pattern on the clip and finial with a postable cap. It also has a 6mm nib on the fountain pen. The Aaron roller ball and fountain pen come in three plating's, Jewelry grade Rhodium (NOT CHROME) with 22K Gold accents on the center band and finals, Black Titanium with Jewelry grade Rhodium accents and the last one also in Jewelry grade Rhodium with black Titanium accents. These are built on the Jr.ll platform so if you've made the Jr.ll in the past no need to buy new drill bits or bushings as the tubes still use the 10.5 MM and 12.5 MM bits. There is one difference in the lower tube length as it is slightly longer, we also recessed the spring in the final. These two changes were made so when you add a fountain pen section to convert a roller ball to a fountain pen you can use a standard converter with out removing the spring, yes we made sure the threading would accept the 6MM fountain pen section and the roller ball section so you can have a convertible pen. The roller ball comes with a Schmidt 5888 top of the line refill and the fountain pen comes with a JoWo 6MM nib
